Why The Camel Farm

The Camel Farm is the natural expression of our love for the desert, the place we reach every time we need to unwind and leave the stress of the city behind. A place where we could relax, have a karak, enjoy the fresh breeze, pet some farm animals, ride a camel, watch the stars while a oud plays in the background. It’s a beautiful experience for adult and a great way to teach kids how to love and take care of the animals

The Culture

The Camel Farm is also our way to give back to a Country that made us feel at home like no other countries did before. That’s why we constantly promote initiatives aimed at spreading the Emirati and Khaleeji culture, through art exhibitions and workshops, live music, lectures, food journeys. We always welcome new ideas and new ways to connect you with the local customs and traditions.

Sustainability

We strongly believe that our environment needs to be protected and preserved as much as possible, for us and for the future generations. That’s why our Camp is built to be energy efficient, limiting as much as possible the waste of water, food, electricity!

Good Guests

The Camel Farm is located inside the Al Marmoom Conservation Reserve, a sanctuary that is home for thousands of Gazelles, Oryxes, Oubaras, Desert Foxes and many more beautiful creatures. We are the guests in their home and it’s our duty to be respectful of our hosts by not creating disturbance and harm. Our effort to integrate with the environment is often rewarded by families of gazelles that, from time to time, come to say hi from the dunes surrounding the Farm!
